Welcome to the New Jersey Green Association (NJGA), your green business community! Operating much
like a "green business chamber of commerce," the NJGA brings together solar companies, energy
conservation firms, electric vehicles, utilities, offshore wind companies, academic
institutions and virtually any organization that seeks to improve our environment while becoming
more sustainable. Because we have excellent working relationships at the federal and state
levels i.e. the EPA and NJDEP, and great partners, such as the U.S. Green Building Council, NJ
Clean Cities Coalition, Institute for Sustainable Enterprise, the NJ Sanitary Supplies
Association, Transitioning to Green and The Sustainable Business Incubator, we keep you
informed on all of the latest environmental developments. And, we are advocates for the best
possible federal and state policies on behalf of our members.
But perhaps our greatest strength is our members themselves because it is the ability to network
and learn from each other that sets the NJGA apart and gives them a competitive green advantage
in the marketplace. We believe, like green business visionary Paul Hawken, that "Business is
the only mechanism on the planet today powerful enough to produce the changes necessary to
reverse global environmental and social degradation." We hope you will join us in making a
difference not only in the state of New Jersey but the world.
